When did you begin making music, and did you ever ponder a different career?

I started at the age of four and I remember I was very fascinated by the recording button on our kitchen radio. I recorded my own versions of my little pony songs, but I wrote my first actual song called “Nobody knows me” for my girlgroup band “Dizzy Woop” when I was ten. I’ve always knew that I wanted to become a singer when I grew up, but I had a very strong interest in drawing as well. My passion for music is much stronger though, so the choice was easy enough for me.

How would you describe your music?

My music is quite bombastic and emotional. It’s important for me to feel a lot of emotions when I listen to music. I try to combine big drums with an interesting melody to get that great earthy organic vibe. I want my lyrics to say something important to the listener, like if I’m on a pedestal and having my one chance to say something important to the world that everyone would remember.

What have you been up to so far and what can we expect over the coming months?

I’ve released three singles so far over the last two years and I’m planning on releasing my fourth single and also an EP before the end of this year. I’m very excited to release more songs.

If you could duet with anybody who would it be and why?

Wow, duets are something special and I would love to do that together with Morrissey! He holds the same values as me on animal rights and other issues in the world, and I think we could sound really good together.

What’s your desert island disc and why would you take this one album?

Right now I’m in love with Harvest Moon by Neil Young. I’ve listened to it all the time as a teenager at my ex boyfriend’s house and a few days ago I got my own record as a birthday present so now it’s on repeat again.
