Emily is a recent graduate hoping to persue a career in journalism. Music has been an important part of her life from the very beginning; she was named after the Pink Floyd song ‘See Emily Play’, and some of her earliest memories from childhood are dancing around the living room to her parents’ old Beatles and David Bowie vinyls. She listens to music whenever she can and attends gigs frequently. She listens to all kinds of music, although her favourite genres are probably alternative and indie, and she has an unhealthy obsession with female singer-songwriters. She also unashamedly appreciates pop music and harbours a strong dislike for music snobs.
Apart from music, Emily’s favourite things include reading, watching movies, spending time with friends and drinking copious amounts of tea.
