Chris Brown Banned
Chris Brown has been denied access to the UK due to his criminal record. He was due to perform in a Michael Jackson tribute show. This is the second artist this week who are not able to appear. The Black Eyed Pease pulled out earlier this week.
Steve Jobs: 24th February 1955 – 5th October 2011
Steve Jobs, founder of Apple and the man behind the iPod and other various Apple products passed away after his eight year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Bert Jansch: 3rd November 1943 – 5th October 2011
Folk guitarist Bert Jansch passed away aged 67. He founded the group Pentangle who he played with for seven years, and only as recent as August did he perform a reunion show with the band. Jansch was admitted into a hospice several weeks ago after his health deteriorated. He was suffering from cancer, which ultimately lead to his death.

John Taylor Biography
Duran Duran bassist John Taylor is set to publish his memoirs. The rock and roll story of his life is set to be revealing, divulging unheard stories from life on the road and from touring with one of the most successful bands of the 1980s. The book is set for release Autumn 2012.

Michael Hutchence Photography Exhibition
Unseen photographs of INXS frontman Michael Hutchence are being shown at a photography exhibition later this month. The photographs, taken by Chris Cuffaro will be on display at The Gallery Soho on October 20th (private view), 21st and 22nd. Entry to the event is free. The exhibition coincides with the release of INXS – The Very Best album which will be released October 24th.
