Congratulations to Adele who is pregnant with her first child. The singer and her boyfriend Simon Konecki are celebrating the news. Congratulations also need to go out to Nathan Followill and wife Jessie Baylin who are also expecting their first child. Meanwhile Joy Williams of The Civil Wars and her husband, Nate Yetton, announce the birth of their first child, Miles Alexander, born on June 30th, 2012 in Nashville, TN. Baby and mama are happy & healthy.
Lauren Hill Court Case Continues
Lauren Hill has pleaded guilty to the charges of tax evasion. If Hill is found guilty, The Fugees singer could face up to three years in prison.

It is sad news from the world of print media. Music magazine The Word has announced that the August edition will be its last.
Flaming Lips Out Perform Jay Z
The Flaming Lips have broken the world record for most shows performed in different cities in one day. The title was formerly held by Jay Z. The Flaming Lips performed in eight cities across America.
Godiva Festival Cancelled
Yet another festival has been cancelled. The Godiva has had to be cancelled due to inclement weather.
T in the Park News
Pete Doherty has pulled out of playing T in the Park. The Libertines and Babyshambles singer has recently checked into a rehab facility in Thailand to help battle his drug addiction.
Motown Musical
Plans are apparently going ahead to make a musical of Berry Gordy’s life. The story of Motown will be co-produced by Gordy and hopes to hit the stage in 2013. In other musical news he story of the Spice Girls is being made into a musical called Viva Forever.
Album News
Those awaiting a new album from Snow Patrol will be waiting a lot longer than they thought. The band have admitted to scrapping their current recordings which were supposed to make up their
seventh album. In other album news Skunk Anansie’s long awaited new album will be released later this year. The album Black Traffic is a follow up to their 2010 release Wonderlunstre and will be followed by an extensive tour. More details on the European tour when we have them.
Hundred Reasons Split
Hundred Reasons have announced that they are over. They will be playing two shows in November which have been confirmed as the last ever performance from the band.
