
Stylusboy is the recording name for Steve Jones, an up-and-coming Coventry-based musician who makes poppy folk music. His first EP Fingerprint was released in 2009, and since then the singer-songwriter has been turning many heads. He has been featured on BBC Introducing, as well as building up quite a live following having played alongside such acts as Newton Faulkner, whose music is a good comparison sound-wise. Other obvious influences on Stylusboy’s music include Damien Rice and Badly Drawn Boy, as well as Elbow.
