When did you begin making music, and did you ever ponder a different career?

I started making music very young. I was about three or four and I was constantly making up melodies and playing guitar. I don’t think I’d have got onto radio 2 then though! Music was the only think I ever wanted to do.

How would you describe your music?

Sparkly folk pop.

What have you been up to so far and what can we expect over the coming months?

I have been busy writing my debut album Enchanted. Other than that gigging lots and lots and loving it! Headline tour is on the cards for next year along with a festival run.

If you could duet with anybody who would it be and why?

Hard choice! Maybe Jason Mraz, John Mayer or Imogen Heap. I already lived the dream when I collaborated with Passenger.

What’s your desert island disc and why would you take this one album?

Graceland, because it’s one of my favourite albums and makes me so happy. I always want to dance when I hear it and I think that’d cheer me up when I start missing home!
