Triangle

When did you begin making music, and did you ever ponder a different career?

I began making music when I was very young. I started singing. I really didn’t know that music would be a career for me until I was a teenager. Even then I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to make a living out of it.

How would you describe your music?

My music is a combination of country, soul, bluegrass, rock and blues. It is a little bit of all of that.

What have you been up to so far and what can we expect over the coming months?

So far this year I have been recording a good bit and writing a lot. I am going to be doing that for the next several months preparing a record for next year.

If you could duet with anybody who would it be and why?

I’d love to duet with Van Morrison. He’s one of my favourite singers. I’ve got so many of his records and I’ve seen him live so many times. I just think he is one of the greatest singers ever.

What’s your desert island disc and why would you take this one album?

I think if I could have one album it would be Meet The Beatles. I saw them when they were first on US television on The Ed Sullivan Show. They influenced the course of my life from that moment on.
