How did you meet and what’s the story behind your band name?

Charlie (Bass and vocal) and Ben (guitar) met a few years back in London, then moved to Bristol. Arron offered his services as drummer after playing one of our recordings on his podcast. The name came from a song by 70’s punk band ATV, it seemed to sum up the ‘dark but cute’ sound of the music

How would you describe your music?

Like a soundtrack for a movie with lots of desolate landscapes and scrapyards, inhabited by small cute creatures with sharp teeth. or industrial edged post punk gothic noise rock!

What have you been up to so far and what can we expect over the coming months?

We’ve gigged a lot in Bristol, including supports with Bo Ningen, Cold In Berlin, Screaming Females and Purson. We released a free download in June called Lizardbrain, which will also be on our forthcoming EP ‘Son Of The Flies’ which will be out on 17th February, available at nastylittlelonely.com and we’ll be gigging around the UK to promote it.

If you could duet with anybody who would it be and why?

It’s hard to pick one… I’d probably choose Mike Patton from Faith No More as he is the best vocalist ever, really versatile and uses brilliant effects to make his voice into an instrument, but a close second would be Nick Cave or Lydia Lunch.

What’s your desert island disc and why would you take this one album?

Possibly ‘Goat’ by the Jesus Lizard, its so atmospheric and evocative and has brilliant riffs.
