When did you begin making music, and did you ever ponder a different career?

My first solo performance on a stage was on my second birthday! I’ve been doing music for fun since I was young, but started taking it more seriously when I was 16 and was offered a place at The BRIT School aged 16. I’d never really considered another career, although I’ve done a few jobs in my time including working on a building site… sooo think I’ll stick to the music.

How would you describe your music?

I’d describe it as a blend of my influences; trip hop, jazz, electro-pop. Other people have described it as quirky!

What have you been up to so far and what can we expect over the coming months?

I released my debut single ‘Coins’ on 27th July that was premiered on BBC Radio 1xtra which was super exciting for me! I’ve been writing a LOT and gigging around the UK. Over the coming months you may spot me on a feature track, or catch me at the next Sofar Sounds show…

If you could duet with anybody who would it be and why?

The Beatles… does that still count as a duet if there could be 5 of us?

What’s your desert island disc and why would you take this one album?

Flyte – The Loved Ones. It’s got a tune for every mood.
