Preview: Cambridge Folk Festival 2016 – More Acts Announced

Cambridge has announced yet more acts for it’s line up this week, adding the likes of KT Tunstall who’s currently working on a new album and Nancy Kerr, who last performed in 2015 with Martin Simpson and Andy Cutting.

Firm favourites Megson have also been added to the list, and Emily Barkers new band Applewood Road make their festival debut. Elsewhere O’Hooley and Tidow who wowed Stage 2 in 2014, and Della Mae bring their bluegrass sound to the mix.

Suffice to say the the 14,000 crowd who venture to Cherry Hinton will not be disappointed this year.

The festival runs from the 28th – 31st July 2016 with weekend tickets on sale for £159 for adults.
